No spam: Spam will be automatically deleted and the member should consider himself/herself warned. Any future spam will result in removal of membership.The no spam rule applies to private messages in addition to messageboard posts. Personal Website Links: Junior Members and above may share links to personal websites (except for links to reality tv message boards). Rookie Members may not share links until they achieve Junior Member status.This includes sending links via private message. If a Rookie Member PMs you a link to a personal website, please report it to a staff member immediately. Respect your fellow posters: No flaming, baiting, or insulting your fellow posters. If you disagree with someone's opinion have a discussion about it but do not resort to name-calling or insults. Remember that this is a privately owned message board: Freedom of speech and the First Amendment do not apply to privately owned message boards. We set the rules and have the right to edit and delete posts and to ban or remove any members who can't comply with our guidelines. Membership Levels: Rookie Members are members who have less than 50 posts. Junior Members have between 50 and 250 posts. Senior Members have between 250 and 1000 posts. Veteran Members have over 1000 posts. Please do not post using all caps: It's considered "shouting" and is thought of as bad "netiquette". Do not start redundant threads: Check the forum for pre-existing threads relating to the topic you want to discuss. For example, if you want to discuss a particular episode look for a pre-existing episode thread and add to that discussion. Place warnings when posting spoilers: When sharing spoilers write "Spoiler" in the title and/or at the top of the post then leave several lines to allow scroll down to spoiler info. When posting news stories cite the source and post the link to the story: You may not post copyrighted information without first citing the source and posting the link to the original story. Don't quote entire posts when replying: Quote only the relevant portion of someone's post when replying to something they said. Go easy on the emoticons: Save our bandwidth. Don't use 15 emoticons when one will get your point across. A little cursing here and there is ok but don't go overboard: X-rated conversation and the posting of pornographic material is strictly prohibited. |
