Survivor started in the year 2000 and jump started to reality TV craze.

Hosted by Jeff Probst, the series’ premise is that several people are taken to a tropical setting and split into two groups called “tribes”. The tribes compete against each other in contests for prizes and for immunity, which keeps a tribe from going to tribal council. At tribal council, a contestant is voted off by other tribe members each week. It can because they don’t help around camp, are weak in challenges, or because no one like them.
